Alistair Charles William Forsyth the current Clan chief now resides in a chateau in Condom, France. He sold Ethie castle which he had restored & it is now a B&B.

Years ago I was astonished to find an engagement annoucement in the Herald for another Anne-Mar[ee] Forsyth, and now I see her comment is immediately below mine on this page
Anyway I am so glad to have found the site! I went on the tour to Scotland in about 1999 but sadly Jack and Coral have since died and I don't remember the name of the only other Kiwi on tour.

Great to have NZ Guestbook,My Forsyth's came to NZ in 1874 they were Robert Forsyth and Jessie Farquhar-Roberts parents are Robert and Helen Thomson/hay from Aberdour,then Roberts parents are Alexander and Jane Thompson from Ellon,and Alex's parents are James and Elizabeth Watson,We are stuck there..............glad to here from anyone with any info on this family,thanks Anne-Maree
